MARRIAGE

Marriage has been a practice that has been around for centuries.  However, marriage has evolved throughout the ages.

In the Medieval ages, marriage typically occurred between young people.  Males were typically at the age of 17 while females were at the age of 12.

The marriage ceremony typically occurred in front of the local chapel with the priest asking if there is any reason that the couple should not get married.

In many cases, the marriages that occurred where not love relationships and after the marriage typically only friendship would happen from the marriage.
